Life Begins After Football

Huff retired from football as a player in 1968.  He would spend one season as the linebackers coach for the Redskins. Next he turned his attention to the world of horse racing.  He would bring the sport back to his home state of WV and build an equestrian center in Middleburg, VA.  His true claim to fame with today’s generation came in 1988 when he joined the Redskins radio as a color commentator on game day.  Along with his former teammate Sonny Jurgensen he has been calling games ever since.  Sam has gotten older, but still remembers where it all started.  He faces challenges today the same way he did in his playing day strait forward and unflinching.
